The TV anime series “Bungo Stray Dogs” is collaborating with the Museum Meiji Mura in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture to hold the “Museum Meiji Mura x Bungo Stray Dogs: Lost Dog Travelogue” event from September 14th to December 15th for a limited time only, where you can enjoy a puzzle-solving game with a completely original story and collaborative gourmet food.
Room wear and miscellaneous goods for the TV anime “Bungo Stray Dogs” are now on sale. “Bungo Stray Dogs” is a supernatural battle action work in which characters named after real literary figures such as Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Akutagawa Ryunosuke play an active role. The manga, written by Asagiri Kafka and illustrated by Harukawa 35, is currently being serialized in “Young Ace”.
Since the first season of the TV anime was aired in 2016, a total of five seasons have been broadcast so far. In addition to the anime, it has been adapted into a stage play and other media mix, and in 2022, the first live-action film in the series, “Bungo Stray Dogs BEAST,” was released. In April 2024, the “8th Anniversary, Eight Major Projects” will be held to commemorate the eighth anniversary.
“Museum Meiji Village x Bungo Stray Dogs: The Tale of the Lost Dogs” is a large-scale collaboration project announced as the fifth of the eight major projects for the eighth anniversary. In addition to the “mystery solving game,” there will be an “original voice guide” that will take you around historical buildings while listening to the characters’ commentary, a special exhibition called “Meiji Village Bungo Encounter Record” that explores the similarities between the characters and modern Japanese literary figures, and collaborative gourmet food will be provided.
■Mystery solving game:
This is a completely original story exclusive to the event, and you can experience three incidents that take place in Meiji Village with the characters. If you clear each course, you will receive an “original sticker”, and if you clear all three courses, you will receive an “original role memo” (limited to the first 1,000 people).

■ Special Exhibition Meiji Village: Encounters
with Great Authors This exhibition explores commonalities between the characters and great authors who were active in modern Japan, through handwritten manuscripts, letters, favorite items and other materials. It also explores their hidden thoughts and true selves.
Period: First period: Saturday, September 14th to Tuesday, October 29th, second period: Wednesday, October 30th to Sunday, December 15th
Location (inside the Meiji Village Museum): Chihayaakasaka Elementary School Auditorium
Admission fee: 800 yen (separate village admission ticket required/free for elementary school students and younger)
■ The collaboration gourmet
menu includes 12 items such as “Nakajima Atsushi’s Detective Agency’s Preferred! Cafe “Uzumaki” Omelette Rice”, “Akutagawa Ryunosuke’s Tororo Tea Soba”, and “Edogawa Ranpo’s Zenzai”. For each collaboration gourmet order, one “original coaster” (12 types in total) will be distributed at random.
Other events to be held include the “Kagami no Kaga “Thank You” Stamp Rally,” the “Nishikie Stamp Rally,” and the “Kajii Motojiro’s Lemon Bomb Target Game,” and original collaboration goods featuring newly drawn characters will also be on sale.
An introductory video for “Museum Meiji Village x Bungo Stray Dogs: The Stray Dogs Travelogue” is also now available.
“Museum Meiji Village x Bungo Stray Dogs: The Travels of a Stray Dog” will be held from September 14th to December 15th.
