New merchandise such as the “Face T-shirt – Very Displeased Face Ver.” and “Eye Mask” from the TV anime “Funeral of Frieren” will be available. The brand “COSPA”, which sells official character costumes, apparel and goods, will be selling them in advance at Tokyo Game Show 2024.
The manga “Funeral of Frieren,” written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, will begin airing as an anime in the fall of 2023 on September 29. Set in a world “after” the defeat of the Demon King, the story is full of ups and downs, including humorous exchanges between characters that make you chuckle, and serious battle scenes using magic and swords.
Set in the world “after” the Demon King was defeated by heroes, the story follows Frieren, a magician who has lived for over a thousand years, as he sets out on a “journey to get to know people” following the death of Himmel, the hero with whom he once defeated the Demon King.
A large number of apparel items featuring characters from “Funeral Parlor Frieren” are now available.
The lineup includes the “Frieren Face T-shirt – Very Displeased Face ver.”, which boldly depicts Frieren’s facial expression from the story, the “Frieren being eaten by a Mimic – Lightweight Dry Parka” featuring a memorable scene, and the “Zoltrak – Lightweight Dry Parka” which will make you want to slay monsters with its wear and tear.
The “fans” with designs of Freiren, Fern, and Aura are also accompanied by lines from each character, such as “That’s what the hero Himmel would do,” “I’m incredibly happy that you tried to get to know me,” and “Himmel is no longer here.”
Other items available include the “Fern double-sided full graphic T-shirt,” the “Zelier T-shirt,” and the “Ubel’s Magic to Cut Almost Anything T-shirt.”
Each item will be available for pre-sale at the COSPA booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will be held from September 26th to 29th. The COSPA official shop (including online store) is accepting pre-orders for the general sale items until October 6th.
