“Gintama” Gin-san, Katsura, Okita, Hijikata and others have turned into cats!? “withCAT” design items now available

The TV anime “Gintama” has appeared as an illustration in the cat design series “withCAT”. Acrylic key chains and other items with gentle texture designs will be available.

“Gintama” is a TV anime and theatrical anime series based on the manga by Hideaki Sorachi. Set in Edo, where values suddenly change due to the invasion of the Tenjin (aliens), it boasts enduring popularity as a thrilling entertainment packed with hilarious gags and action, as well as human feelings and bonds.
In December 2024, the exhibition “Gintama 20th Anniversary Exhibition – Gathering of the 20th” will begin a nationwide tour in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

The TV anime series was broadcast from 2006 to 2013, with the 367th episode coming to an end in October 2018. Theatrical versions of the anime were also released, including “Gintama: The Movie – The New Benizakura Arc” in 2010, “Gintama: The Movie – The Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya” written by the original author Sorachi Hideaki in 2013, and “Gintama: The Final”, which depicts the end of the original work, in 2021.

Characters from “Gintama” such as Gintoki Sakata, Kotaro Katsura, Sougo Okita, and Toshiro Hijikata have appeared as “withCAT illustration Ver.” The cuteness of the “withCAT” stuffed animal series is expressed as it is in each character from “Gintama”.

The “Good Night Slide Acrylic Keychain Collection” comes with 8 types in total, and includes the familiar eye mask and futon parts of withCAT. When you stack the two, you can enjoy the sleeping appearance. Each pack contains 2 acrylic plates and 1 ball chain.

The 32 different “Peta Collection” designs feature interesting differences in facial expressions, and there are two different designs to choose from: a normal face and one with an eye mask.

The “bangs clip” is an item you’ll want to use in everyday situations, such as when spending time at home, putting on makeup, washing your face, etc. There are eight types available, each with a normal face and an eye mask.

Other items in the lineup include “mini towels” and the classic collection “clear files” (2 types in total). Each item is scheduled to be released around the end of November. Reservations are being accepted at Animate stores nationwide, Animate Online Shop, Movic Mail Order, etc.
