“Rilakkuma” and “Sumikko Gurashi” have released a “room light humidifier” that can be used in three ways. Pre-orders began on September 25, 2024.

“Rilakkuma” is a bear mascot who is always laid back and at his own pace. He lives with the mischievous Korilakkuma and the hardworking Kiiroitori, and is good friends with Chai-roikoguma and his friends who live in the Honey Forest. The loose and cute stories that Rilakkuma and friends unfold will bring you a little time of healing, kindness, and laughter.
“Sumikko Gurashi” is popular for its worldview of slightly negative but unique characters with the theme “Being in a corner somehow makes you feel calm.” The first animated film, “Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: The Pop-up Picture Book and the Secret Child,” was released in 2019, the second film, “Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: The Magical Child of a Blue Moonlit Night,” was released in 2021, and the third film, “Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: The Mysterious Child of the Patchwork Factory,” was released in 2023.
This time, Rilakkuma and the lizard from “Sumikko Gurashi” have been released as a cute “room light humidifier.” This one unit can be used in three different ways: “room light mode,” “humidifier mode,” and “humidifier and room light mode.”
The “room light mode” illuminates the space with a soft orange light, creating a soothing atmosphere, and the silicone material gives off a soft, gentle light that is unique to the material.
The “humidifier mode” that moisturizes the room with mist comes with a 1-hour and 3-hour off timer to prevent you from forgetting to turn it off when you go to sleep or go out. There is also a dry-burn prevention function that automatically turns off the power when the water in the tank runs out.
The power supply is via USB cable, so it can be used anywhere, such as in the living room or bedroom. In addition, the colored design makes it easy to blend in with furniture or shelves as interior decor. It can be used all year round, using only the humidifier during the day and only the room light during the humid summer months.
The size is 135mm wide x 112mm deep x 187mm high for “Rilakkuma” and 135mm wide x 150mm deep x 177mm high for “Sumikko Gurashi”. The price is 6,600 yen each (tax included).
