The TV anime “Haikyu!!” fair “Haikyu!! Autumn Fair in Animate” will be held from October 19, 2024. New merchandise featuring original visuals will be sold at Animate stores nationwide and on Animate Online Store, and special benefits will also be available.
“Haikyu!!” is a monumental sports manga by Haruichi Furudate that began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012 and gained popularity for its passionate youth drama about high school students who are devoted to volleyball. The series will conclude its eight-and-a-half-year serialization in July 2020, and the total number of copies of the 45 volumes of the comics has exceeded 60 million.
The TV anime began airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliates in 2014, and has become a hugely popular series that has captivated many fans and viewers up until the fourth season, “Haikyu!! TO THE TOP.” “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump,” which was released nationwide in February 2024, caused a sensation, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide, including in Japan.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series’ broadcast in 2024, the “Anime Haikyu!! 10th Anniversary – Connecting – Project” has been running since April, connecting fans with the series. Various projects are being planned, including the production of commemorative visuals and a 10th anniversary exhibition.
At the “Haikyu!! Autumn Fair in Animate” being held at Animate this time, original visuals of the club in action will be on display.
Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, Tsukishima Kei, Yamaguchi Tadashi, Kuroo Tobio, Kozume Kenma, Oikawa Tooru, and Iwaizumi Hajime are depicted in poses that look like they are relaxing during club activities.
The merchandise lineup includes an acrylic stand that allows you to see the whole body, as well as the standard badges and hand towels.
In addition, a “holo card collection” with a design of each number will also be released. Many other goods will also be on sale.
