Netflix series “Tokyo Override” will be available from November 21st! Voiced by Fairouz Ai, Takeuchi Ryota, Maeno Tomoaki, and others

“Tokyo Override” is a groundbreaking animated series set in Tokyo 100 years from now, where AI has become integrated into everyday life and all aspects of urban life have been automated. The misfit protagonists uncover the existence of a great evil lurking in the city that is supposed to be an “ideal society” on the surface.
Kai, a lonely teenage hacker, finds herself in unexpected trouble after accepting a dangerous request from her only friend. Then, she encounters a group of misfits who ride motorcycles, a near-extinct sport in this world where all vehicles are autonomous. Through the investigation of a sudden fatal accident, Kai and the group will witness the shocking truth behind the utopian Tokyo.

The global release date has now been decided, and it has been revealed that Fairouz Ai will play the role of the main character Kai. In addition, Ryota Takeuchi will play Hugo, a member of the “group of misfits” who later invites Kai into their group, Tomoaki Maeno will play Spook, Mariya Ise will play Watari, and Shigeru Chiba will play Yukiwo.

The directors are Yusuke Fukada, an up-and-coming storyteller who is active both in Japan and overseas, including as a producer on the Sylvester Stallone series “Ultimate Beastmaster,” and Veerapatra Jinanavin, who sublimates his experience at major Hollywood studios and his Thai sensibility into cutting-edge animation.
