From the TV anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets∽”, various “Costume Exchange Ver. 2nd Edition” goods using newly drawn illustrations are now available. Reservations are currently being accepted on the mail order site “AMNIBUS”, which sells original anime and manga goods.
The Quintessential Quintuplets is a romantic comedy based on the manga of the same name by Haruma Negi, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine until February 2020.
The story follows the protagonist, Uesugi Futaro, who boasts top grades in his grade, as he becomes a tutor to the beautiful Nakano quintuplets, who hate studying and are on the verge of failing, and guides them to high school graduation.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2019, and the second season from January to March 2021. The movie “The Quintessential Quintuplets”, which depicts the “School Festival”, the final event of high school life for Fuutarou and the quintuplets, was released in theaters on May 20, 2022.
After that, “The Quintessential Quintuplets∽”, a film adaptation of an original story episode not depicted in the TV series, was released in theaters in July 2023, and the new movie “The Quintessential Quintuplets*”, which depicts the honeymoon arc of Fuutarou and the quintuplets, was released in theaters for a limited three-week period from September 20, 2024.
The new merchandise that is now available for preorder on “AMNIBUS” features a “costume swap ver.” of a newly drawn illustration.
The quintuplets, Ichika Nakano, Nino Nakano, Miku Nakano, Yotsuba Nakano, and May Nakano, each appear in a “costume swap” style.
You can enjoy the quintuplets’ fresh looks even though they’re familiar outfits, such as Ichika in Yotsuba’s outfit.
The merchandise lineup includes trading acrylic stands, acrylic cards, acrylic name plates, and badges.
For trading goods, a limited edition item designed by all quintuplets will be included as a pre-order bonus for every box or single item ordered in the equivalent of one box.
There will also be merchandise available that allows you to choose your favourite quintuplets, including character fine mats with high-quality, high-definition reproductions of original illustrations, multi-purpose desk mats, and big acrylic stands with parts.
In addition, the lineup also includes gigantic life-size tapestries and extra-large acrylic stands.
There will also be acrylic stands with all quintuplets lined up, A6 acrylic panels, and
of course standard merchandise such as A3 posters, clear files, and acrylic key chains, so you can enjoy the quintuplets in a wide variety of ways.
