What comes to mind when you think of a “doll” character? The survey deadline is October 6th.

October 15th is “Doll Day.”
It is a commemorative day established by the Japanese Doll Association and other organizations, and doll memorial services and doll thanksgiving events are held all over the country.

There are many characters in anime that are related to dolls. Some are dolls that can move of their own volition, some have large collections of dolls, some can control dolls freely, and some have such lovely appearances that they can be mistaken for dolls.

So, Anime! Anime! will be conducting a reader survey titled, “What comes to mind when you think of a ‘doll’ character?” Please answer in the free-form format, telling us the character and the name of the work you think it is.
