Echidna from the TV anime “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” has been made into a “Glass Edition” figure by Prime 1 Studio’s figure brand “PRISMA WING.” Preorders are now being accepted on Prime 1 Studio’s official online store.
“Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” is a fantasy based on the light novel by Nagatsuki Tappei, which began serialization on the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist” in April 2012 and was published by “MF Bunko J” in January 2014. It depicts the story of Natsuki Subaru, a young boy who is suddenly summoned to another world, who uses the power of “Return by Death” to rewind time after dying and confront his cruel fate.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016. The second season was broadcast from July to September 2020, with the second half from January to March 2021. Two OVAs were also produced. The third season, “Assault Arc,” will begin on October 2, 2024 with a 90-minute extended special premiere, and will take place one year after the liberation of the “Sanctuary,” in which Subaru once again faces a harsh fate in the water gate city of Priestella.
The “Echidna Glass Edition” figure is a 1/7 scale figure of Echidna, the “Witch of Greed,” the embodiment of lust for knowledge, who wanted to know everything in this world and seek all kinds of wisdom, even leaving regrets in the afterlife. Her enigmatic aura is charming, and she is adorned with an original dress and glass design by “PRISMA WING.” In the gently expanding world of glass, she is posing gracefully, just like Echidna.
