A collaboration item has been released between the anime “Haikyu!!” and “Palude,” a brand that sells anime and game-themed loungewear and miscellaneous goods with the concept of “being close to your daily life.” The fluffy loungewear collection with the theme of “favorite foods” will be available on Palude’s official online store from 5:00 p.m. on October 7, 2024.
“Haikyu!!” is a monumental sports manga by Haruichi Furudate that began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012 and gained popularity for its passionate youth drama about high school students who are devoted to volleyball. The series will conclude its eight-and-a-half-year serialization in July 2020, and the total number of copies of the 45 volumes of the comics has exceeded 60 million.
The TV anime began airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliates in 2014, and has become a hugely popular series that has captivated many fans and viewers up until the fourth season, “Haikyu!! TO THE TOP.” “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump,” which was released nationwide in February 2024, caused a sensation, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide, including in Japan.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series’ broadcast in 2024, the “Anime Haikyu!! 10th Anniversary – Connecting – Project” has been running since April, connecting fans with the series. Various projects are being planned, including the production of commemorative visuals and a 10th anniversary exhibition.
The fluffy loungewear collection, a collaboration between this work and “Palude,” has a theme of “favorite foods.” It is full of catchy and cute items that will make you hungry just by looking at them.
The “Roomwear Pullover” and “Roomwear Long Pants” feature the characters’ favorite foods in fluffy knit. The “Hairband” and “Room Socks” feature design names with the characters’ profiles written on them.
Other items in the lineup include fluffy knitted crochet key chains and cushions featuring the chicks, as well as acrylic stands, tin badges, stickers, and portable rubber coasters featuring original illustrations of the chicks wearing their loungewear.
A clear multi-case with the characters’ favorite foods is also available.
