The movie version of the TBS Friday Drama “Trillion Game” will be released on February 14, 2025. It has been decided that the cast members from the drama version, including Kenjiro Tsuda, Kosuke Suzuki, Terunosuke Takezai, Yoshitaka Hara, Akari Akase, and Jun Kunimura, will continue to appear in their roles. The second latest teaser trailer has also been released.
“Trillion Game” is a serial drama that was broadcast on TBS in the 22:00 time slot in July 2023. Two opposites, Haru (aka Tennoji Yo), “the world’s most selfish man,” and Gaku (aka Hira Manabu), “a timid computer nerd,” team up to start a company from scratch. This is an unprecedented non-stop entertainment that depicts how they earn 1 trillion dollars (trillion dollars) through bluffing and unpredictable strategies and rise to the top to obtain everything in this world.
A TV anime series has also been airing since October 2024. The original story is by Riichi Inagaki, known for Eyeshield 21 and Dr. Stone, and the illustrations are by Ryoichi Ikegami, known for Sanctuary and Crying Freeman. The manga is currently being serialized in Big Comic Superior, and various media mix developments are being carried out.
The TV drama “Trillion Game” is now on a larger scale and is coming to the big screen. Following on from the TV series, the movie version will feature a completely original story supervised by the original author, Inagaki Riichiro.
Since the launch of “Trillion Game Company,” the strongest buddy duo Haru (Meguro Ren, Snow Man) and Gaku (Sano Hayato) have grown in both capital and company size, and their next venture is to develop Japan’s first casino resort. The story is set in a fascinating casino resort where the world’s wealthiest people gather and huge sums of money are exchanged overnight, where romance and desire mix. Will the two of them, who will face more difficult and powerful opponents than ever before, be able to make their dream of 1 trillion dollars (trillion dollars) come true?
Expectations are high for Haru and Gaku’s exploits as they jump into a world of unprecedented danger.
The cast for the movie has now been announced. It has been revealed that all six actors from the TV series will be continuing to play their roles. Kosuke Suzuki will reprise his role as Hebijima Toru, the game producer who played a key role in the rapid growth of Trillion Games, and Yoshitaka Hara will reprise his role as Sakura Shingo, the game creator.
Additionally, Kenjiro Tsuda will continue to play the role of Kunugi Kazuyoshi, a news producer who demonstrated his talent in the internet television business.
Familiar faces will also be returning in the film, including Kunimura Jun as Kokuryu Kazuma, Kirika’s father and the founder of Dragon Bank, Haru and Gaku’s greatest enemy; Takezai Terunosuke as Nagase Tadanori, Kirika’s bodyguard and secretary; and Akase Akari as Mizuki Fuka, Kidoin’s (Yoshikawa) part-time secretary who was a high school student at the time.
This information raises expectations for what kind of performances they will bring, along with Meguro Ren (Snow Man), Sano Hayato, Imada Mio, Fukumoto Riko, Kikkawa Koji, and others who have already been announced to be reprising their roles.
The second teaser trailer has also been released. It shows Haru with a big smile, Gaku with a serious expression on his face as he works on his computer, and Kirika, Linlin, and Kidoin. The familiar theme song plays, and the excitement is building for the “Trillion Game” to finally begin.
“If the casino is successful, we’ll be able to see a trillion dollars,” says Haru, whose grand words are accompanied by the aforementioned returning cast members. The game that will put Haru and Gaku’s life on the line begins. Who is the next target, the “world’s number one casino king,” and what is the “real game” that Haru is talking about…?
