Voice actress Kaori Maeda’s second photobook, “Romance x Road Movie,” is now on sale, featuring her first swimsuit and nightwear! “Enjoy the excitement!”

The long-awaited second photo book of voice actress Maeda Kaori, who has gained popularity for her roles as Sakurazaka Shizuku in “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club” and Nice Nature in “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby,” titled “The Scent of Love,” was released on October 24th.

Kaori Maeda, who belongs to Amuse, was born on April 25, 1996 in Fukuoka Prefecture. In 2016, she won the grand prize at the Voice Actor Artist Development Program Selection. In 2017, she made her voice acting debut in the anime “100% Pascal Sensei.”

Her major appearances include the game and anime “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby” (Nice Nature), “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club” (Sakurazaka Shizuku), the anime “Aikatsu Stars!” (Futaba Aria), “Back Street Girls -Gokudols-” (Tachibana Mari), “Tamayomi” (Takeda Eimi), “Kuroizu-san of the Monster Development Department” (Kuroizu Touka), “Oni Pan!” (Momozono Momo), and the anime movie “Hula Hula Dance” (Ohana Ka’aihue). In 2022, she was appointed “Special Ambassador (Tourism Ambassador) of Kitakyushu”, and in 2023, she made her artist debut with “The Way the Shining Coin Shows”. She is active in many fields.

Her second photobook, “The Scent of Love,” focuses on the origins of Maeda’s charm: her beautiful looks and friendly, bright personality, and was shot with the aim of creating a pseudo-romance with no sense of distance. The entire book was shot in Okayama Prefecture, and the story is structured so that readers feel as if they are in a romantic movie with Maeda, who is said to be “the No. 1 voice actress you would want as your girlfriend.”

At a time when the good things about Japan are being re-evaluated, the film has a “romance road movie” feel, allowing viewers to rediscover Japan with Maeda through filming in the beautiful cityscapes, nature, and historic houses of Okayama, Kurashiki, and Takahashi, cities that are home to many hidden Japanese landscapes such as nature, architecture, and food.

The book is packed with the charms of Maeda, who has grown into a more mature woman, including her first swimsuit and nightwear, which are rarely seen in her usual activities. Maeda also commented on the release, “I’m sure you’ll feel even closer to me than in my first photobook. I hope you’ll enjoy the closeness of Maeda!”
