New merchandise such as the “Chokonto! Swaying Acrylic Stand” from the TV anime “Haikyu!!” is now available. Reservations are currently being accepted on the online shopping site “AMNIBUS”, which sells original anime and manga merchandise.
“Haikyu!!” is a monumental sports manga by Haruichi Furudate that began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2012 and gained popularity for its passionate youth drama about high school students who are devoted to volleyball. The series will conclude its eight-and-a-half-year serialization in July 2020, and the total number of copies of the 45 volumes of the comics has exceeded 60 million.
The TV anime began airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS affiliates in 2014, and has become a hugely popular series that has captivated many fans and viewers up until the fourth season, “Haikyu!! TO THE TOP.” “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump,” which was released nationwide in February 2024, caused a sensation, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide, including in Japan.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series’ broadcast in 2024, the “Anime Haikyu!! 10th Anniversary – Connecting – Project” has been running since April, connecting fans with the series. Various projects are being planned, including the production of commemorative visuals and a 10th anniversary exhibition.
The new goods, which are now available for pre-order at “AMNIBUS”, feature students from Karasuno High School, Aoba Johsai High School, Nekoma High School, etc.
Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, Tsukishima Kei, Oikawa Tooru, Kuroo Tetsuro, and Kozume Kenma are depicted as small characters standing there.
The lineup is centered around trading items such as adorable swaying acrylic stands that move around, acrylic cards that allow you to view chibi character illustrations up close, acrylic key chains, and tin badges.
Also available as trading items will be acrylic nameplates that can be used to display each character’s name.
The various goods can be chosen from two types: “ver. A” which features Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, Tsukishima Hotaru, Yamaguchi Tadashi, Nishinoya Yuu, Tanaka Ryuunosuke, Sawamura Daichi, Sugawara Koushi, and Azumane Asahi, and “ver. B” which features Oikawa Tooru, Iwaizumi Hajime, Kuroo Tetsurou, Kozume Kenma, Ushijima Wakatoshi, Tendo Satoru, Bokuto Kotaro, Akaashi Keiji, Miya Atsumu, Miya Osamu, Hoshiumi Kourai, and Hirugami Yukio.
For each product, a box or a single item ordered in the equivalent of one box will come with a Tsukishima Kei & Yamaguchi Tadashi or Bokuto Kotaro & Akaashi Keiji item as a pre-order bonus. Among
them, the pre-order bonus includes a square-shaped can badge.
