A celebration for Nobuhiko Okamoto’s birthday is being held! A modern-day ninja makes a surprise appearance and takes on the knife disaster that Okamoto has always dreamed of! What will be the outcome of this challenge, which was undertaken with the entire staff mobilized?

In this episode, the entire show celebrated Okamoto’s birthday on October 24th. In addition, action actor and action coordinator Tak Sakaguchi, who Okamoto says he is a big fan of, appeared and took on a full-scale action scene! We had fun this week too.

In this episode, entitled “Celebrating 38! Okamoto Nobuhiko’s Birthday SP,” Nakamura goes all out to celebrate Okamoto’s birthday on October 24th. First, Nakamura presents Okamoto, who claims to have a sweet tooth, with sweets from a store opening in the first half of 2024 that will have people lining up to buy. Okamoto is delighted as he gobbles down the voluminous new sweets, including acai bowls, kunyane, and chiffon cake, leading to comments such as “Make sure you chew well lol” and “Drinking Hiko lol.”

Then, two unfamiliar men appeared in the studio… Okamoto was excited by this unexpected turn of events, exclaiming, “It’s Sakaguchi Tak! Amazing!” Surprisingly, Sakaguchi Tak, a Wave Master and modern ninja with over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, appeared as a guest in the studio. Okamoto has long been a big fan of Sakaguchi and says he “watches his videos a lot,” and in this broadcast, under Sakaguchi’s guidance, they were to try out knife disarmament, which is often featured in his videos. Sakaguchi immediately mentioned that although the knife they would be using was a practice knife, there was a possibility of injury, and Okamoto and Nakamura seemed a little nervous, saying, “Let’s play it safe.”

Finally, Okamoto grabs a knife and points it at Sakaguchi, but is easily dodged. Nakamura then challenges the teacher, saying, “Leave it to me,” but is completely defeated… Sakaguchi then simplifies the rules, saying, “If the knife stabs me anywhere below my neck, I lose.” The two of them exclaim, “Seriously?!”, but are once again easily taken down within a matter of seconds. However, Okamoto and Nakamura refuse to give up, and they put up a great fight, challenging Sakaguchi together, or calling on five program staff members, making a total of seven people. Could the two of them defeat the “modern ninja” Sakaguchi?

At the end of the program, Nakamura read a handwritten letter to Okamoto on his birthday. Furthermore, when the program staff and Sakaguchi handed Okamoto 38 sweets as he turned 38, Okamoto was delighted and expressed his gratitude to the program, saying with a smile, “I feel like I can spend the next two years until I turn 40 laughing,” and “When I turn 38, I want to eat these sweets and laugh with my friends!”
