Eight kinds of goods, including “Trading Heart-Shaped Can Badges Vol.2” featuring designs of Sakura Kinomoto and Kero-chan from the TV anime “Cardcaptor Sakura,” are now available. Reservations are being accepted at “AMNIBUS,” which sells original anime and manga goods.
Cardcaptor Sakura is a manga by the creative group CLAMP that was serialized in the monthly shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi from 1996 to 2000. It depicts the exploits of Sakura, also known as Kinomoto Sakura, who struggles as a cardcaptor to retrieve the Clow Cards, which are said to bring disaster to the world. It was adapted into an anime by NHK from 1998 to 2000, with the first and second seasons being called the Clow Card Arc, and the third season being called the Sakura Card Arc.
In 2016, the 20th anniversary of the series, a new chapter, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, began for the first time in 16 years. In 2021, the series celebrated its 25th anniversary, and many related goods were released. The Clear Card arc will conclude in 2023 after seven and a half years of serialization. The Clear Card arc continues to garner excitement, with the production of an anime sequel already confirmed.
Among the goods currently being accepted for pre-order, the “Trading Heart-Shaped Tin Badge Vol.2” is a heart-shaped tin badge with illustrations of Sakura Kinomoto, Kero-chan, Tomoyo Daidoji, Syaoran Li, Eriol Hiiragizawa, and Li Meiling, while the “Trading Sakura Only Glitter Tin Badge” is a tin badge with a glittery illustration of Sakura Kinomoto. Pre-order bonuses will be included with each order of one box or the equivalent of one box of each item.
Other items in the lineup include sweatpants with Kero-chan’s illustration, a long-sleeve T-shirt with a Sealing Key design, and a multi-purpose desk mat with illustrations of Sakura Kinomoto, Kero-chan, Daidoji Tomoyo, Syaoran Li, Touya Kinomoto, and Yukito Tsukishiro. There is also a tabletop humidifier and two-pocket pass case with a star key design, and a glasses case with cherry blossom and feather motifs.
