From the TV anime series “My Hero Academia,” “Ugly Sweaters” featuring Himiko Toga and Tomura Shigaraki have been announced. This is the third collaboration item with “Palude,” a brand that sells loungewear and miscellaneous goods based on anime and video games.
My Hero Academia (commonly known as Hiroaka) is a hero action manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Kohei Horikoshi. Set in a world where people with supernatural abilities called “quirks” are commonplace, the story follows the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he grows up with his friends at the prestigious hero training school, U.A. High School, in order to become a hero who can stand up to the “villains” who misuse their “quirks.” The original series, which was serialized for about 10 years, will reach its conclusion in August 2024.
The first season of the TV anime series began in April 2016, with the seventh season, the latest series, airing in May 2024. The first film, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, was released in August 2018, and the fourth film, My Hero Academia: Your Next, is now in theaters since August 2nd, three years after the first film.
Following the first series of “Ugly Sweaters” featuring Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Shoto Todoroki, and the second series featuring All Might, Endeavor, and Hawks, the third series has now been added to the lineup, featuring Himiko Toga, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Twice.
The pink-based “Ugly Sweater
The “Ugly Sweater (Shigaraki Tomura)”, which expresses a dark worldview, boldly features the phrase “Break it!” The hand of Shigaraki woven into the shoulder and side is also a point of interest.
The “Ugly Sweater Dabi” is a patchwork knit sweater. The large figure of Dabi himself knitted into it makes a huge impact.
The “Ugly Sweater
The “Agri Sweater” stands out for its individuality. Each sweater has a special feel to it. The reservation period for each item is from September 11, 2024 to October 9, 13:59. The price is 14,300 yen each (tax included). The second series, featuring designs of professional heroes such as “All Might”, is also accepting reservations until September 20.
