Character tab cans featuring designs of Hinata Shoyo, Kozume Kenma, Miya Atsumu and others from the TV anime “Haikyu!!” are now available. Reservations are being accepted on Premium Bandai until 11:00 p.m. on October 15, 2024.
“Haikyu!!” is based on a volleyball manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Haruichi Furudate. It depicts the struggles of the Karasuno High School volleyball team, which includes a diverse group of players, including the protagonists Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama. The series concluded after eight and a half years in serialization in July 2020, and the total number of copies of the 45 volumes of the manga has exceeded 60 million.
The TV anime series began broadcasting in 2014. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the series in 2024, the “Anime Haikyu!! 10th Anniversary – Connecting – Project” has been running since April to connect fans with the series. Various projects are being planned, including the production of commemorative visuals and a 10th anniversary exhibition.
Also in 2024, “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump” will be released, becoming a huge hit with box office revenues of over 20 billion yen worldwide. The Blu-ray and DVD will be released on October 30, 2024.
The latest product is the character tab can, which is a mini can containing two chocolates. There are six different designs, and the back of the can features a mini character design.
From Karasuno High School are Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, and Tsukishima Kei. From their rival Nekoma High School, Kozume Kenma, from Fukurodani Academy High School, ace Bokuto Kotaro, and from Inarizaki High School, Miya Atsumu are in the lineup.
