ABEMA has announced that all seven performances of the first ever fan meeting of the music-based character rap project “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” (hereinafter “Hypnosis Mic”), “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Division Fan Meeting” (hereinafter “Hypnosis Mic Division Fan Meeting”), will be exclusively streamed live on “ABEMA PPV ONLINE LIVE”. In addition, tickets for the two divisions, Ikebukuro and Yokohama, will go on sale from 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

“Hypnosis Mic” is a “music-based character rap project” that started in September 2017. The story depicts MC teams based in each division (area) battling each other over their territories, and the results of the battles influence the future development of the story, with fan-participation rap battles being held. The authentic rap music, with rappers and track makers who are leading the Japanese hip-hop scene participating as creators, has become a hot topic. It has also been adapted into a stage play, an anime, and various other media mix developments, and has gained immense popularity, especially among young people.
This year, the seventh anniversary, the first fan meeting “Hypnosis Mic Division Fan Meeting” has been decided. At this event, which will have seven performances by division, from the six divisions of Ikebukuro/Yokohama/Shibuya/Shinjuku/Osaka/Nagoya to the Chuo Ward “Koto no Ha Tou”, voice actors from each division will appear and hold special talks, as well as a mini live performance featuring new songs that will be included in the division CDs being released seven months in a row.

Tickets for these broadcasts can be purchased for 4,000 yen (tax included) for each performance on “ABEMA PPV ONLINE LIVE”, and the main events can be viewed on catch-up streaming until 11:59pm on Saturday, November 9th for the “Buster Bros!!!” performance, and until 11:59pm on Sunday, November 10th for the “MAD TRIGGER CREW” performance.
