In the film “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Picture World Story,” which commemorates the 45th anniversary of the series, Doraemon and his friends dive into the “world of paintings” and embark on a great adventure set in the magnificent medieval European world depicted in paintings. A completely original story is depicted in which Doraemon and Nobita and his friends, along with the friends they meet in the paintings, face off against powerful enemies in search of the phantom jewel.

The director of this film is Yukiyo Teramoto, who directed the TV anime “Doraemon” and became the first female director of the series with “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s New Great Adventure into the Underworld – The Seven Magicians” in 2007. This is the fourth film in the “Doraemon the Movie” series. And it is the screenwriter for the first time, Kimihisa Ito, who has written many screenplays for the TV anime “Doraemon”. Expectations are already high for the collaboration between these two people who are well versed in “Doraemon”.

The trailer released with the announcement begins with the 45th anniversary logo of the movie, featuring Doraemon in a new artistic outfit wearing a beret and holding a brush. “What kind of story does this picture tell?” Nobita wonders, letting his imagination run wild about the world inside the picture. Using Doraemon’s secret gadget, the “Crawl Light,” he jumps into the world inside the picture, and finds himself in the magnificent medieval European world of the Principality of Arturia… That’s the plot.

What kind of adventure awaits Doraemon and his friends? And what secrets are hidden in this world? Anticipation is building for the encounter with new friends and the thrilling, epic story. The video also shows Doraemon and his friends meeting in the painting. Keep an eye out for more information on characters who hold the key to the story, including Claire, a girl from the mysterious country of Arturia depicted in the painting; Milo, a boy who is good at drawing and lives in the Principality of Arturia; and Chai, a little devil with wings.
