Himiko Toga from the TV anime series “My Hero Academia” has been turned into a 1/7 scale figure by Taito’s high-quality figure brand “spiritale.” Pre-orders are now being accepted on the EC site “Taito Products Online Store.”

“My Hero Academia,” also known as “Hiroaka,” is a TV anime based on the hero action manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from issue 32 of 2014 to the combined special issue 36/37 of 2024 by Kohei Horikoshi, whose comic series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, including digital versions.

The media mix has been a hot topic, including a TV anime series, an anime movie, a game, and a stage play. As the seventh season of the TV anime is gaining popularity, the fourth movie, My Hero Academia: The Movie: Your Next, will be released on August 2, 2024. In 2025, a fan book and the first art book will be released, and a new original art exhibition is scheduled to be held.

The “My Hero Academia Toga Himiko -Duffel Coat- 1/7 Scale Figure” is a 1/7 scale figure of Toga Himiko, a high school girl suspected of a series of deaths from blood loss, who appears as an enemy with a “quirk” that allows her to take on the appearance and voice of other people by ingesting their blood. The figure features Toga-chan in her favorite duffel coat, which she purchased using funds provided by the organization.

Interchangeable parts are used to recreate her hidden duality: her “Cute Mode” with a cute, quirky mouth and a dancing pose, and her “Villain Mode” in which she bares her characteristic sharp teeth, holds a knife and attacks.

Toga-chan’s favorite duffle coat has been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, such as the hem that spreads out as she moves, the texture of the fabric, and the movement of each toggle button. The cute sleeves on her wrists, the wrinkles in her miniskirt, and the boundary between her knee-high socks and thighs have all been carefully sculpted, resulting in a finish that is full of attention to detail.

The base, reminiscent of ruins, contrasts the danger of the stabbing knife with the vividness of the splattering ink, giving a sense of Toga’s dual nature. Pay attention to the details of the zipper on her bag and the coloring of her costume. Interchangeable “cute mode parts” are included, and you can enjoy two different expressions by changing the facial parts.
