A collaboration between the TV anime “Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” and Kyoto-based folding fan manufacturer Maisendo has begun. A hanging scroll-style tapestry and a Mino ware plate are available for preorder at the AmiAmi online shop and Animate online store.
“Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” is a fantasy based on the light novel by Tappei Nagatsuki. It depicts the story of Natsuki Subaru, a boy who is summoned to another world, who uses his power to rewind time after death to confront his cruel fate. The TV anime began airing in 2016. The latest 3rd season will begin airing on October 2, 2024.
This time, it has been decided that a “Hanging Scroll-Style Tapestry” and a “Mino Ware Plate” will be released. The “Hanging Scroll-Style Tapestry” will be available in two varieties: Emilia & Subaru and Ram & Rem.
Emilia is a beautiful half-elf girl with silver hair and amethyst eyes, just like the “Witch of Envy” who once nearly destroyed the world. Rem and Ram are twins. Both are maids who handle all the chores at Roswaal’s mansion, and are surviving demons who are particularly powerful among demi-humans.
In this merchandise, the characters are dressed in traditional Japanese clothing, giving them a dignified appearance and creating a different atmosphere from the main story.
As a bonus for purchasing both, AmiAmi will include a Rem keychain with a Kyo-Kumihimo ornamental knot, while Animate will include an Emilia keychain with an Kyo-Kumihimo ornamental knot. The price is 7,480 yen each.
The “Mino Ware Exquisite Moment Plates” come in three varieties: Emilia, Rem, and Beatrice. The SD-sized heroines are drawn in a cute way, and you’ll be sure to enjoy a moment that will put a smile on your face. Each costs 2,200 yen (all prices include tax). Products are scheduled to be shipped in late December.
