2B’s official costume from “NieR:Automata” has been released. “Having emotions is forbidden”… but we can’t help but feel impressed by how well-made it is!

The official costume set for 2B (YoRHa No. 2 Type B) from the TV anime “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a” is now available. Pre-orders are being accepted at COSPA, a store that sells cosplay goods.

“NieR:Automata” is an action RPG produced by Square Enix and developed by PlatinumGames. Set in a future where humanity has been driven from the Earth and retreated to the Moon by aliens’ machine lifeforms, the game follows 2B and 9S, members of the new android unit YoRHa, as they go on a mission.

The TV anime series, titled “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a”, began airing in 2023. The second season aired from July to September 2024.

This time, the costume set worn by 2B will be available in the Cospa brand “Cospatio” lineup. Under official supervision, it is a full-fledged outfit that has been tailored down to the smallest detail according to the setting.

The set includes a headband, goggles, one-piece dress, wing parts, and gloves, and the distinctive pattern is also embroidered. It can be enjoyed as a cosplay costume, or it can be worn on a torso and displayed in a room, making it a great interior decoration.

Available in sizes S/M/L/XL/XXL. The release date is scheduled for late April 2025, and the price is 165,000 yen (tax included).
