From the TV anime “BANANA FISH” comes the new “Pub Mirror” and “Boa Shoulder Bag.” Pre-orders are currently being accepted at “AMNIBUS,” which sells original anime and manga goods.
“BANANA FISH” is a suspense action story based on the manga serialized in “Bessatsu Shojo Comic” by Akimi Yoshida from 1985 to 1994. It
depicts the story of Ash Lynx, a young boy who leads a New York street gang, and Eiji Okumura, a Japanese boy who comes to investigate, as they pursue the truth behind the mysterious word “Banana Fish.”
The TV anime was broadcast from July to December 2018, with Yuuma Uchida playing the role of Ash and Kenji Nojima playing the role of Eiji.
The pub mirror and boa shoulder bag that will be released this time are new goods with a motif of the New York cityscape where the work is set. Both of them incorporate the imagery of the work in abundance.
The pub mirrors are available in two designs. One features the New York cityscape and the other features Ash Lynx from the teaser visual.
The motifs and lines that evoke the “dawn” from which “ASLAN” is derived, as well as the memorable scene in Episode 1 where Ash and Eiji first met, are must-sees.
The boa shoulder bag is a horizontal square shoulder bag made of fluffy boa material, incorporating various elements such as the subtitle and the streets of New York. The bag is
based on black with the yellow color that evokes the work, making it easy to use on an everyday basis.
The main pocket can be opened on both sides to fit A4 size documents, and there is also a sub-pocket for storing small items. This handy item can be used in a variety of situations, from everyday use to special occasions such as events.
The “Pub Mirror” is priced at 10,978 yen (tax included) each, and reservations are being accepted until October 30, 2024.
The “Boa Shoulder Bag” is priced at 14,080 yen (tax included), and reservations are being accepted until November 12, 2024. Shipments are scheduled for early February and late March 2025, respectively.
