Voice actors Kotono Mitsuishi and Tomokazu Seki express “transformation scenes”! “Mount Rainier” TV commercial, in which they also appear in live action, begins airing

Four new TV commercials (15 seconds each), titled “Soy Latte/Oat Latte: An Amazing Transformation,” starring voice actors Kotono Mitsuishi and Tomokazu Seki, to coincide with the renewal of Morinaga Milk Industry’s chilled coffee products “Mount Rainier Soy Latte” and “Mount Rainier Oat Latte,” began airing nationwide on October 1st.

The new TV commercial, “Soy Latte/Oat Latte: An Amazing Transformation,” promotes the fact that “Mount Rainier Soy Latte” and “Mount Rainier Oat Latte” (called “Soy Latte” and “Oat Latte” in the TV commercial) have been revamped, with both the taste and packaging transformed into a completely different latte, not a completely different drink.

Under the theme of “Amazing Transformations!”, the show depicts “Mount Rainier Soy Latte” and “Mount Rainier Oat Latte” taking on common transformations found in various genres such as special effects, anime, and games.

This TV commercial is packed with a variety of “amazing transformations” such as “special effects”, “magic girl”, “pixel art” and “fighting battle” styles, and the biggest highlight is that it is narrated by voice actors Mitsuishi and Seki, who have played popular characters in numerous anime works. Not only do Mitsuishi and Seki provide their voices, but they also appear in live action as voice actors recording the narration, quenching their thirst with “Soy Latte” and “Oat Latte”, providing rare scenes that fans won’t want to miss.

When asked about highlights of the commercial and lines that people should definitely hear, Mitsuishi commented, “It’s the ‘Soiiii!’ transformation scene, which is reminiscent of a magical girl anime. I aimed to play a cool fighting heroine (lol).” Seki also commented , “I like how surreal it is that in the scene where the letter ‘O’ in ‘Soy Latte’ spins around, they use the spirited acting of ‘Soy soy soy soy!’ (lol).”

In addition, ahead of the main TV commercial “Soy Latte Oat Latte Amazing Transformation” episode, a web commercial “pre-preview” version in the style of an anime preview has been available since September 24th.
