The synopsis and preview cuts from the first episode, “The Beginning of a Miracle,” of the fall anime “Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi,” which will air on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, have been released.
“Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi” is a romantic comedy based on the manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” that has sold over 1.65 million copies and is the debut work of Naito Marcy, who was an assistant on “The Quintessential Quintuplets” for many years. It depicts a “slightly strange story
of love and miracles” in which Uwasu Uryu, a high school student aiming to enter Kyoto University’s medical school, comes to live at Amagami Shrine in Kyoto on the condition that he “takes over the shrine as an adopted son-in-law” and chases his dreams while living under the same roof with three shrine maiden sisters who are potential marriage partners.
Episode 1 “The Beginning of a Miracle” Synopsis
Uwasu Uryu is a high school student who doesn’t believe in God. He grew up in an orphanage without any relatives, but one day he finds a potential foster parent.
Uryu, who is aiming to enter Kyoto University’s Faculty of Medicine, is happy that he can now study in peace, but he is actually taken to a shrine.
Furthermore, there were also three shrine maiden sisters living there who were the same age as him; Amagami Yatsuge, Amagami Yuna, and Amagami Asahime; all quirky but adorable.
Uryu finds himself suddenly thrown into a state of mind when he starts living together with three shrine maiden sisters.
The first episode of “Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi” titled “The Beginning of a Miracle” will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other networks on Tuesday, October 1st. It will also be streamed on Amazon Prime Video at the same time as it airs on terrestrial TV.
