A collaboration with the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” began in the puzzle RPG “Puzzle & Dragons” (commonly known as “Puzzle & Dragons”) on October 1, 2024. New characters such as “Geto Suguru” and “King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna” as well as character pairs such as “Itadori Yuji & Fushiguro Megumi” have joined the game.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy manga by Gege Akutami that ended its six-and-a-half-year serialization with the September 30th issue of “Weekly Shonen Jump” 44th issue of 2024. The story begins when a powerful “cursed object” is unsealed and high school student Yuji Itadori enters a world of battles surrounding curses. The comics, with volume 0 currently on sale as “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School,” have already published 27 volumes.
The anime series began with the first season, which aired from October 2020 to March 2021, and the movie “Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie,” released in December 2021, was a huge hit, grossing 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime will air from July to December 2023, and a sequel to the TV anime, “Shimetsu Kaiyu,” is scheduled to be produced, and a compilation movie of the second season, “Kaitama/Tamaori,” is scheduled to be released in 2025. In addition, login stamps and event quests where you can get various rewards, a “Monster Exchange” with a lineup of collaboration characters, and “Gachi Avatars” will also be available, adding to the excitement of the collaboration.
