“Evangelion” AT field protects your hands!? Unit 01 turned into work gloves ♪ “Mechanics Wear” collaboration item released

ATFIELD EVANGELION WORK, a workwear brand that incorporates the worldview of “Evangelion,” has collaborated with the American high-performance work glove brand Mechanix Wear. Pre-orders for the first collaborative glove, “MECHANIX WEAR × ATFIELD Original Glove (Unit 01),” will begin on October 4, 2024.

“Neon Genesis Evangelion,” written and directed by Hideaki Anno, is a science fiction anime that explores the human heart, human relationships, and the very foundations of human nature through the battle between a boy and girl piloting a giant humanoid battle weapon and the mysterious “Angels.” From 2007 to 2021, the “Rebuild of Evangelion” series was released as a four-part theatrical anime that “REBUILD” the series.
The final installment, “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time,” was the biggest hit of the series, grossing 10.28 billion yen.

Now, the Evangelion work brand “ATFIELD” has announced a collaboration with Mechanicswear, a high-performance work glove brand born in California, USA.

This product is based on Mechanicswear’s representative model “The Original” glove, and incorporates the iconic design of Evangelion.
The back of the hand features the iconic coloring of Evangelion Unit-01.

Furthermore, the left palm features the logo of the “Special Agency NERV” that appears in the movie, and the right palm features the mark of the “AT Field,” an overwhelmingly defensive barrier in Evangelion, asymmetrically designed.
It’s a cool model that you’ll want to look at even when you’re not wearing it.

The price of the “MECHANIX WEAR x ATFIELD Original Gloves (Unit 01)” is 5,500 yen (tax included). To celebrate the anniversary of the first episode of the TV series being broadcast on October 4, 1995, advance reservations will begin at 9:30 am on October 4, 2024.
