Autumn anime “You are the Underworld.” A maid’s previous job was a “hitman”!? A heartwarming assassin love story ♪ First episode preview

The synopsis and preview cuts for the first episode, “My Fateful Encounter with You,” of the fall anime “You Are the Underworld,” which will air on Saturday, October 5, 2024, have been released.

“You are Meido-sama.” is an action love comedy based on the original work by Shotan that has been serialized in Shogakukan’s “Sunday Webry” since 2020. It is a unique comic that started as an original doujinshi and became a serial in “Sunday Webry”, and has sold over 600,000 copies in total.

This is a heartwarming assassin love story between high school student Yokotani Hitoyoshi and Yuki, a maid and assassin who suddenly visits his home.

Episode 1: “A Fateful Encounter with You”
One day during summer vacation, a woman dressed in a maid’s uniform suddenly arrives at the house of Hitoyoshi Yokotani, who is enjoying his life alone.

Hitoko was captivated by her beauty when she asked him if he would hire her as a servant, but he was intimidated when she calmly told him that she was skilled in assassination, and initially refused to hire him.

However, when she nearly gets run over by a truck, she saves him, and Hitoyoshi decides to hire her as a maid. However, she has terrible housekeeping skills…

The first episode of “You are the Underworld” titled “My Fateful Encounter with You” will be broadcast on Saturday, October 5th on the “NUMAnimation” slot on 24 TV Asahi affiliated stations nationwide. It will also be streamed on ABEMA at the same time as terrestrial broadcasting.
