The synopsis and preview cuts of episode 27 “A” of the fall anime “BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc – Conflict Story,” which will be broadcast on Saturday, October 5, 2024, have been released. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime “BLEACH,” comments have also arrived from the cast members who played the powerful enemies of the series.
“BLEACH” is a sword-fighting action manga by Tite Kubo that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and has sold over 130 million copies in total. It is still popular worldwide even after the series has concluded. The
story follows the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains the power of a Shinigami after a certain encounter and becomes a “Substitute Shinigami,” as he gets caught up in the turmoil of Soul Society, a place where the souls of those who have died in the present world gather, and engages in fierce battles.
“BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War” is the final series of the anime series, with the first season airing from October to December 2022, and the second season, “Farewell Story,” from July to September 2023. In the third season, “Soukoku Story,” Shinigami and Quincy, Ichigo and Uryu, faith and determination – incompatible light and shadow clash in the deep blue sky, and the battle for the survival of the three worlds finally reaches its climax. In
addition, Taguchi Tomohisa will serve as general director and Murata Hikaru will serve as director for the third season, and animation will be produced by Pierrot’s new brand “PIERROT FILMS.”
Episode 27 “A” Synopsis:
A battle between Zero Squad and Yhwach’s Royal Guard over the Soul King.
As the battle intensifies, Sudara Senjumaru, who has released the seal of the blood oath in exchange for the lives of Kirinji, Hikifune, and Nimaiya, uses his bankai, Sadakara Gaishirakutsuji, to corner the royal guards including Uryu.
Meanwhile, Hyosube Ichibei, facing off against Yhwach, unleashes the power of the White Brush, turning Yhwach into a fragile and fleeting black ant. Yhwach and Uryu are in a desperate situation. What will be the outcome of their battle?

The 20th key visual for the TV anime “BLEACH” and a special video to go along with it have been released.
The video begins with a scene of Ichigo running through with his Zanpakuto in hand, and then by Byakuya Kuchiki saying, “Ichigo Kurosaki, I will cut you down,” it goes on to show powerful enemies such as Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Aizen, Ginjo, and Yhwach, all of whom have spoken their feelings towards Ichigo.
Episode 27, “A,” of “BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc – Conflict Story” will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other channels on Saturday, October 5th.
Congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the BLEACH anime.
Even at the time, the studio had a lively cast and was filled with the desire to make the series even better. I’m sure I was filled with that desire, even though I was a bit cocky at the time. I couldn’t be happier
that a sequel to BLEACH has been revived as a TV series 10 years later, and that we actors can play the same characters. I’m also filled with gratitude to everyone who supported us.
Let me express my strong desire to see the end of the series by using the words that are synonymous with Byakuya: “Scatter.”
Celebrating the 20th anniversary! At the launch party for the TV anime series in 2012, Kubo-sensei said to me, “Grimmjow isn’t dead yet!”, which left a strong impression on me. I was happy when he reappeared in the original work, but I was also sad that I would never get the chance to play him. I never expected
that! He left his mark on the story with his role as a match-up with the main character. I am truly happy that so many people still love him. Please look forward to his appearance in the Thousand-Year Blood War arc!
At the time, the dubbing was done in a studio that was not particularly large, and the atmosphere was filled with heat, and it felt like I was in the middle of a whirlpool of enormous energy.
Then suddenly I was added to the mix as a cool character. With a level of tension that didn’t fluctuate, a voice volume that wasn’t loud, and if I tried to add color or tone to it, it wasn’t needed. I fought my own battles among characters that were like lumps of passion. The many words of encouragement that drew attention to that were very encouraging. And above all, I was happy to be able to play a character that was loved by so many people.
20th anniversary! It’s all thanks to the support, not to mention the power of the original work. It’s even more rewarding for a voice actor to be able to play the same character for so long. I’m truly grateful. This is the heart.
20周年、おめでとうございます。そうか、もうそんなに経つのですね。一護との壮絶な闘いが、つい先日のように思われます。藍染は、何とも歩み寄ることなく、孤高の強者として存在する。かなりの難易度とプレッシャーに立ち向かった日々は、充実していました。

当時、大人気の「BLEACH」に自分が出られることになり、とても嬉しかったことを思い出します。銀城を演じるうえでは、飄々とした中に残忍さを持っているので、緩急を意識したのを覚えています。力と力のぶつかり合いの一護との戦闘シーン。血管切れそうになりながら、スタジオで汗ばんだのも懐かしい思い出ですね。とても魅力的なキャラクターでまた演じられること、とても嬉しく、皆様に喜んでもらえるよう頑張りますので、お楽しみに︕
20年間、斬月で参加させていただきました。当時、アニメの収録に慣れなかった私は、何かと一護役の森田成一君を頼りに、斬月を演じて来たものです。そしてユーハバッハ。キャラクターは近いですが、その存在の大きさに、益々やり甲斐を感じています。私の周りにも『BLEACH』ファンは多く、自作のユーハバッハのイラストを送ってくれる方もいて、作品の力に驚いています。ありがとうみなさん︕ これからも『BLEACH』を一層応援してください︕︕
