Special merchandise featuring cartoon-like, playful artwork of Izuku Midoriya and friends from the TV anime “My Hero Academia” by illustrator Soap Mizusawa has been released. Pre-orders will begin on October 3, 2024 at “Aninaka Store,” also known as “ANIMATION ADDICT STORE.”
“My Hero Academia,” also known as “Hiroaka,” is a TV anime based on the hero action manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from issue 32 of 2014 to the combined special issue 36/37 of 2024 by Kohei Horikoshi, whose comic series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, including digital versions.
The media mix has been a hot topic, including a TV anime series, an anime movie, a game, and a stage play. As the seventh season of the TV anime is gaining popularity, the fourth movie, My Hero Academia: The Movie: Your Next, will be released on August 2, 2024. In 2025, a fan book and the first art book will be released, and a new original art exhibition is scheduled to be held.
The latest merchandise features artwork by illustrator Mizusawa Soap, who is known for creating expressive, pop-style cartoon-like characters, depicting Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Shoto Todoroki and other characters from the series.
