The synopsis and preview scene cuts for the first episode, “Kagura no Mai,” of the fall anime “Haigakura,” which will air on Monday, October 7, 2024, have been released.
“Haigakura” is an action fantasy that has been serialized in “Zero Sum Online” since 2008, and is Takayama Shinobu’s longest-running serialized work to date, with the total number of copies sold for the series, including e-books, exceeding 1.3 million.
As the world of immortals, home to gods and humans, is on the brink of collapse, the story follows the poet Ichiyo, who uses a technique called purification to capture gods scattered around the world, as he searches for the Four Evil Gods, who hold the key to the collapse of the world of immortals, together with his servant Tenkou.
Episode 1: Kagura Dance Synopsis
The world of immortals, where gods and humans live, is on the verge of collapse with the disappearance of the four evil monsters that support the world.
Ichiyo, who became a singer in order to free her foster father, Hakugo, who was sealed away as a human sacrifice in place of the gods, flies around the world in search of the Four Fiends with her companion, Dianhong. Although her dancing is perfect, Ichiyo is a terrible singer, so she is mocked by those around her as a “failed singer.”
One day, Ichiyo learns that the divine beast, Gyū-oni, being looked after by her trainer friend Rakan, has been deceived by its master, Takei…
The first episode of “Haigakura”, “Kagura no Mai”, will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels on Monday, October 7th.
