In the latest episode, episode 52, “The Ice and Flame Conclusion,” Emilia confronts Sirius Romanee-Conti (CV: Anzai Chika), the Witch Cult’s Archbishop of the Deadly Sin of Wrath. Sirius expresses his hostility towards Emilia, saying, “You damn half-demon! I’ll burn you to a crisp and scatter the ashes on my husband’s grave!” In response to Sirius’ ramblings, Emilia attacks him, saying, “You’re an idiot. Well, I’ve got an idea!” Using her sword made of ice, she boldly confronts her opponent.

Many fans seemed to be intrigued by Emilia’s “chants” during these tense battle scenes. Her sweet voice, which includes “Yoisho!”, “Yaa!”, and “Urya!” even in the midst of a fierce battle, had many viewers enthralled, with comments such as “That’s unfair, I can’t stop grinning!!”, “She’s so cute”, “Here we go! The anime series “Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” is based on the popular novel by MF Bunko J (original author: Nagatsuki Tappei, illustrator: Otsuka Shinichiro). It is a dark fantasy in which Natsuki Subaru (voiced by Kobayashi Yusuke) suddenly finds himself lost in another world and uses his ability to “return by death” by dying and rewinding time to face his cruel fate.

The first season of the anime was broadcast in 2016, and it was a huge hit that led to the production of the second season and an OVA. The third season of the anime is scheduled to be broadcast in two parts, with the “Attack Arc” consisting of eight episodes starting on October 2, 2024, and the “Counterattack Arc” consisting of eight episodes starting on February 5, 2025.
