“Magic Knight Rayearth” contains almost everything that exists! Illustrations and data collection will be released on November 12th

“Magic Knight Rayearth Archives” by Anime Style will be released on November 12, 2024 as a collection of illustrations and materials for the TV anime “Magic Knight Rayearth.” At the “Anime Style ONLINE SHOP,” a collection of illustration line drawings will also be included as a bonus.

“Magic Knight Rayearth” is an otherworldly adventure story brought to you by CLAMP, who are also known for “Cardcaptor Sakura,” “xxxHOLiC,” and “Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.”

While on a school trip to Tokyo Tower, Shidou Hikaru, Ryuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu are suddenly summoned by Princess Emerald of the other world “Cephiro.” In order to save the captured princess, the three girls become legendary “Magic Knights” and follow their destiny.

It was serialized in Kodansha’s girls’ manga magazine Nakayoshi from 1993 to 1995, and was made into a TV anime by Tokyo Movie (now TMS Entertainment). It was directed by Hirano Toshihiro (now Toshiki), with character design by Ishida Atsuko, monster and mecha design by Yamane Yoshihiro, and art direction by Ishigaki Tsutomu, and aired from 1994 to 1995. The TV anime will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024, and the start of a new anime adaptation project has been announced.

The Magic Knight Rayearth Archives will feature illustrations and design drawings (line art reference materials) from the TV anime Magic Knight Rayearth. The illustrations will include almost all of the illustrations by the anime staff currently in existence at the production company. In addition, the design drawings (line art reference materials) will include almost all of the existing characters, mechanics and monsters, props, and art.

In addition, at the “Anime Style ONLINE SHOP” and at events related to Anime Style, a booklet “Magic Knight Rayearth Anime Illustration Line Art Collection” will be included as a bonus. This booklet contains line drawings and shaded line drawings drawn for the illustrations of the TV anime “Magic Knight Rayearth”, and is 24 pages in total in B5 size.
