Along with this, a key visual and teaser PV featuring the five main characters have also been released. The appearances of Takuma Nagatsuka, Lynn, Kazuki Mikawa, Hana Shugai, and Akira Sekine have also been announced, and their comments have arrived.
“Fad Skill 《Nut Master》 ~About the Ability to Eat an Infinite Number of Skill Fruits (which will kill you if you eat them)~” is a fantasy TV anime about the strongest person currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Wednesday Sirius” magazine, based on a novel from “Let’s Become a Novelist”.
In a world where you can be granted a special ability by eating a “Skill Fruit,” a boy named Light who aspires to be the greatest adventurer in history obtains a useless skill called “Nut Master,” which has no combat ability and is specialized in nut cultivation. It seems that his path to becoming an adventurer is closed, but one day he accidentally realizes the true power of “Nut Master,” and the story begins to move forward.
The teaser PV released along with the broadcast announcement is an introduction to the world where eating “skill fruits” gives you special abilities, showing the protagonist Light acquiring hyper cheat skills and embarking on the path to becoming an adventurer. This PV is the first to show animated footage, and also features the first appearance of the voices of the five main characters, Light, Lena, Aila, Monica, and Dorathena.
Furthermore, visuals of the main characters and the cast were also revealed. Light will be played by Nagatsuka Takuma, Lena by Lynn, Aila by Mikawa Kazuki, Monica by Shugai Hana, and Doratena by Sekine Akira. Each cast member also provided comments on the anime adaptation. The main staff was also announced, with Asahi Productions handling the animation under the direction of Kimura Ryuichi.
The TV anime “Unlucky Skill 《Nut Master》 ~About the Ability to Eat Skill Fruits (which will kill you) Infinitely~” will be broadcast from January 2025.
