A collaboration event between the TV anime “My Hero Academia” and “RED° TOKYO TOWER” will be held. Starting November 1, 2024, various events will be held, including the sale of merchandise featuring original visuals and the distribution of special gifts.
“My Hero Academia,” also known as “Hiroaka,” is a TV anime based on the hero action manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from issue 32 of 2014 to the combined special issue 36/37 of 2024 by Kohei Horikoshi, whose comic series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, including digital versions.
The media mix has been a hot topic, with TV anime series, anime movies, games, stage plays, and more. The fourth movie, My Hero Academia: The Movie: Your Next, will be released on August 2, 2024. In 2025, My Hero Academia: Final Season will be broadcast, a fan book and the first art book will be released, and a new original art exhibition is scheduled to be held.
The upcoming collaboration event will feature merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations, with the boys from “My Hero Academia” dressed in the red clothing unique to RED° TOKYO TOWER, creating a unified look.
The merchandise lineup includes trading metallic tin badges, illustrated cards, name plates, key tags, etc. Acrylic stands with a choice of characters are available in BIG and extra large sizes.
There are also cute merchandise items such as flake stickers and tote bags with chibi character illustrations. You can also buy rice crackers that are perfect as souvenirs, so there are various goods that are recommended for both yourself and as gifts.
For every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent on merchandise, you will receive one random postcard from 15 different designs featuring new chibi character visuals.
In addition, if you purchase a box of some trading goods, you will receive bonus goods on a first-come, first-served basis.
During the collaboration period, tickets to the Tokyo Tower Main Deck Observatory will be sold as a set that includes a puzzle-solving leaflet and a collaboration bonus “6-piece sticker set (1 type in total).”
In addition, character panels will be set up at Tokyo Tower Foot Town and the Tokyo Tower Main Deck Observatory, and collaboration decorations will be set up inside the Tokyo Tower building.
In addition, there will be a mystery-solving rally where you can solve puzzles set up in Tokyo Tower Foot Town and on the observation deck. If you solve all the puzzles and present your answer sheet at the exchange booth, you will receive a “set of 6 clear bookmarks.”
Additionally, RED° SHOKUDO on the first floor of Tokyo Tower will be serving collaboration drinks themed around the characters, and when you order one, you will receive a random clear card out of 21 types.
