“Oshi no Ko” is a TV anime based on a manga by the luxurious collaboration of Akasaka Aka and Yokoyari Mengo, which depicts the light and darkness of the entertainment industry based on detailed research. Since its serialization began in April 2020, the original work has garnered support from many celebrities and industry insiders, becoming a hot topic. With this momentum, it won the Grand Prize at the “Next Manga Awards 2021 Comics Division”. The series has sold over 18 million copies in total.
The first season, which began airing in April 2023, has received a tremendous response worldwide and has gained popularity among a wide range of generations.
