From the TV anime “ONE PIECE”, new diorama figures from the “Egghead Arc” are now available. There are four types in total, all in a convenient size that makes them easy to collect.
“ONE PIECE” is a hit comic that represents Japan and was first serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. It has sold over 500 million copies worldwide. The story follows the epic adventure of the pirate crew “Straw Hat Pirates”, led by the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, as they search for the “One Piece”, the great treasure left behind by the legendary “Pirate King” Gol D. Roger.
The TV anime series began airing in 1999 and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in October 2024. The commemorative event “ONE PIECE EMOTION” will be held at the Kumamoto venue, Grand Messe Kumamoto, from December 28th, following the Tokyo venue (which has now finished). Looking back on the 25th anniversary, there will be an exhibition where visitors can experience the world of the series, focusing on the Wano Country and Egghead arcs.
The sixth installment of Megahouse’s “LOGBOX RE BIRTH” series, which recreates famous scenes from “One Piece” in impressive dioramas, features four types of “Egghead Edition” figures with fresh, futuristic costumes.
In addition to “Gear 5 VS Kizaru,” a three-dimensional representation of the impressive scene in which Luffy, enlarged by Gear 5, grasps Kizaru, the lineup also includes “Lilith Appears!”, “Luffy & Chopper,” and “Zoro: Unlucky Port Bird.” All of them are small, about 85mm in height, but are well worth seeing, with their unique features captured.
“LOGBOX RE BIRTH Egghead Edition 4-Piece Box” is available for pre-order at AmiAmi and other hobby shops nationwide. It is scheduled to be released in late January 2025. The price is 4,840 yen (tax included).
