The synopsis and preview cuts from episode 2, “A World Where It’s Okay to Cry,” of the fall anime “Blue Miblo,” which will air on Saturday, October 26, 2024, have been released.
“Blue Miblo” is based on the manga “DAYS” by Takeshi Yasuda, which has sold over 13 million copies in total and is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine”, and is themed around the Shinsengumi.
This is a story in which the fate of the protagonist, a young boy, begins to move when he meets Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Souji, also known as Miburo, the most fearsome group of swordsmen in Japan.
Episode 2: “A World Where It’s Okay to Cry” Synopsis:
“I want to be strong too. I want to change this world.”
After meeting Toshizo Hijikata and Souji Okita, he became a member of the Mibu Roshi-gumi, a group of swordsmen who protect the city of Kyoto. He learned that the barracks where he and his friends lived and ate was feared and called the “dwelling place of demons,” and he felt that “maybe I’ve come to a dangerous place.”
When he meets Nagakura Shinpachi and Harada Sanosuke, they suddenly tell him to “show us your strength” and challenge him to a sumo match…!?
The second episode of “Blue Miblo”, “A World Where It’s Okay to Cry”, will begin airing on Yomiuri TV, Nippon TV and other nationwide networks on Saturday, October 26th.
