The real escape game “Yokohama Mystery Solving Walking Tour” based on the TV anime “The Apothecary Diaries” will start on November 1st. You can enjoy solving mysteries while walking around the city with Nekoneko and Jinshi.
“The Apothecary Diaries” is an anime based on the novel of the same name by Hinata Natsu. Set in the imperial harem, Nekoneko, a young pharmacist and “poison taster,” uses her knowledge of poisons and medicines to solve difficult cases that occur in the palace one after another in this harem mystery-solving entertainment. The
manga adaptation is serialized in two monthly magazines, “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX,” and the total number of copies of the series has exceeded 38 million. The TV anime will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons starting in October 2023, with the second season scheduled to air in 2025.

You can explore at your own pace while creating a guide map to travel around Yokohama with Nekoneko and Jinshi from “The Apothecary Diaries.” Since you can solve
the mystery while stopping at places of interest, mainly in the Yokohama Chinatown area, this project is recommended not only for fans of the work but also for those who want to know more about the charm of Yokohama.
The Real Escape Game Yokohama store will be selling “original event goods” and “character goods sets with exclusive puzzles.” There will be six types of original goods, including a clipboard perfect for solving puzzles while walking around town, and a tote bag with a design of Nekoneko and Jinshi that is perfect for everyday use. In addition to the three
types of goods, the goods set also comes with a “puzzle” that reads an original story exclusive to the set. This will be a must-have item for fans.
Additionally, as an early participation bonus, there will be a campaign where the first 1,000 participants will receive an original event clear card.

One day, Nekoneko is asked by her boss
, Jinshi, to try out a puzzle-solving event in a faraway city called “Yokohama.” Nekoneko is reluctant, but after hearing rumors of a secret medicine related to “Yokohama,” she decides to go.
“I’m going to a place called ‘Yokohama’, can you come with me?”
Nekoneko invited you to go with her.
You start doing some preliminary research on ‘Yokohama’ with Nekoneko.
“Are you the pharmacist’s companion?”
On the day when you were fully prepared, when you went to the meeting place, there was Nekoneko and another stranger…!?
“Okay, since we’re all here, let’s go to ‘Yokohama’ right away.”
