Apparel and fashion goods such as sweatshirts, hoodies and T-shirts from the film “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride” are now available. Graniph, which develops graphic items, will be selling a total of 11 items at its official online store and in stores across Japan.
Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, a fun, romantic and vibrant depiction of the afterlife, was filmed using a technique called stop-motion animation.
The story is set in a village in 19th century Europe, where a timid young man named Victor, who is about to get married, makes a vow to marry his corpse bride, Emily, and is taken away to the “world of the dead.” Co-directed by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson, it was released in theaters in 2005.
Graniph will be releasing collaboration items with the movie “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride” on October 22, 2024.
The T-shirts include “Victor and Emily,” which features Victor and Emily standing side by side with the moon and eerie trees in the background, and “Cheers,” which features a luminous print of the two dead generals that glow in the dark.
The lineup includes “Scraps | Sweatshirt,” a sweatshirt hoodie named after Victor’s beloved dog that he used to own, and “The World of the Living and the Dead | Reversible Blouson,” which comes in both an all-over pattern and a plain pattern.
The “World of the Living and the Dead | Reversible Bucket Hat” also comes with one side embroidered with Emily’s hand on the front, forest thorns on the side and a butterfly on the top, as well as another side featuring a pattern of a scene from the world of the dead.
There is also a “Piano | String Bag” available, inspired by the scene where Victor and Emily connect through the piano.
Each item will be available for purchase at the Graniph official online store from October 22nd. Advance reservations are also being accepted at the official online store.
