Original apparel and goods from the TV anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends” will be released under the joint brand “arti-mate” by “arma bianca” and “Animate”. They will be sold exclusively from October 19th at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store 4F, Akihabara Building 1 3F, and Shibuya “Space A la mode”. Pre-orders will also start on the same day at Animate Online Store.
“Natsume’s Book of Friends” is a strange tale of ayakashi contracts, based on the manga currently being serialized in Hakusensha’s “LaLa” magazine by Yuki Midorikawa, which has sold over 17 million copies in Japan. Natsume Takashi, a boy who has been able to see youkai since he was a child, inherited the “Book of Friends” from his grandmother Reiko, and together with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei, he spends his days returning the names of the youkai whose names are bound there.
Natsume begins to search for his own path through his interactions with youkai and people related to them, and with the help of his friends who share his feelings, he tries to find a way to protect his precious days. The latest TV anime series, “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi,” which is the seventh season, will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 7th.
“arti-mate”, a joint brand between Arma Bianca and Animate, has as its brand symbol a yellow gerbera, which has the flower meaning of “ultimate love”. As an apparel brand with the philosophy of “WEAR LOVE”, which means wearing your love for your favorite idol, the brand offers apparel and miscellaneous goods that allow you to express your “ultimate love” for works and characters.
The new original apparel and goods from “arti-mate” feature Nyanko-sensei from “Natsume’s Book of Friends” and flowers from July to December as motifs.
