“Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun” Cinnamoroll ears are too cute ♪ Sanrio collaboration Animate fair to be held

The short anime “Hanako-kun After School” is collaborating with Sanrio characters to hold the “Short Anime “Hanako-kun After School” x Sanrio Characters Fair.” Goods and special offers will be available at Animate stores nationwide and on Animate’s online store from October 19, 2024.

“Toilet-bound Hanako-kun” is a “heartwarming toilet comedy” serialized by Aida Iro in the monthly “G Fantasy”. The story depicts the occult girl, Nene Yashiro, who loves spells and fortune-telling, being manipulated by the sadistic and slightly naughty ghost of a boy, Hanako-kun, and getting caught up in various ghost stories.

The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2020, and in October 2023, a short anime called “Hanako-kun: After School” was broadcast over four weeks, focusing on the story of the spin-off comic. A four-episode sequel to “Hanako-kun: After School” will begin airing in October 2024. The second season of the TV anime, “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun 2”, is scheduled to begin airing in January 2025.

This time, Animate will be holding the “Short Anime ‘Houkago Shounen Hanako-kun’ x Sanrio Characters Fair”, where this work will be collaborating with Sanrio characters.
The collaboration also includes Movic’s illustration brand “DOLLYMIX”, and will feature detective-themed mini characters and original life-size illustrations.

A variety of goods will be on sale, including standard items such as character badge collections featuring the illustrations, acrylic key chains, and sticker sets.

Among them, the acrylic stand is an item that allows you to enjoy large life-size illustrations of Hanako-kun and friends set with Sanrio characters. Many other goods will also be available.

During the fair, for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on purchasing or preordering character goods related to “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun”, or for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on purchasing or preordering a CD, Blu-ray, or DVD, you will receive a bonus “bromide” (10 types in total) at random.

The “Short Anime ‘Hakako-kun’ x Sanrio Characters Fair” will be held at all Animate stores and on Animate’s online store from October 19th to November 17th.
