The TV anime “Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho” is collaborating with the 24-hour unmanned secondhand clothing store brand “#FurugideIkoka.” A collaboration gacha with 10 prizes will be held on the “Furugi Gacha#FurugideIkoka” website from November 1, 2024.
“Yu Yu Hakusho” is a TV anime based on the manga of the same name by Yoshihiro Togashi, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump”. The story follows Yusuke Urameshi, who has been resurrected as a spirit detective, as he defeats evil demons that appear one after another with his reliable companions Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei in order to protect the peace between the human and spirit worlds.
It was broadcast for a total of 112 episodes from October 1992 to January 1995 and quickly became a huge hit. Now, celebrating its 30th anniversary as a TV anime in 2022, it remains popular not only in Japan but all over the world.
This work is a collaboration with “#Kogideikoka.”, a 24-hour unmanned second-hand clothing store brand with the concept of “a store where you can enjoy fashion casually and reasonably at any time.” As of October 2024, it is a major brand that operates 48 stores in 15 prefectures nationwide. You can go there anytime without being approached by anyone, and you can freely shop for high-quality second-hand clothes imported directly from overseas.
As part of this collaboration, participants can win exclusive Yu Yu Hakusho prizes in a gacha held on the “Vintage Clothes Gacha #Let’s Go With Vintage Clothes” website.
There are 10 types of prizes in total. The SS prize is a very valuable item, “a stadium jumper, one of only five in the world.”
The next prize, S Prize, was a Sukajan, A Prize was a sweatshirt, B Prize was a T-shirt, and C Prize was a tote bag, with many apparel items only available from a vintage clothing brand.
The lineup also includes many goods using collaboration-exclusive illustrations, such as Prize D: a big acrylic stand, Prize E: an acrylic block of famous scenes, Prize F: a rubber strap, Prize G: a tin badge, and Prize H: a postcard.
Furthermore, for each play of the gacha, you can get used clothes for 5,000 coins (5,000 yen including tax) of the site’s currency. The used clothes are randomly selected from a wide variety of genres, including T-shirts, shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, nylon jackets, coats, and more, ranging from no-brand items to popular brands such as Nike and Champion.
During the collaboration period, when you purchase a product at any “#FurugideIkoka” store nationwide, you will be issued a serial code. If you enter the code on the “Furugi Gacha #FurugideIkoka” website, you can also try your luck at a gacha to win one of four A4-sized canvas illustration boards.
