In collaboration with the TV anime “Furieren’s Parlor,” “Touge no Kamameshi” has started selling online for a limited time kamameshi named after “Furieren,” “Fern,” and “Stark.” In addition, the Ginza Hakuhinkan branch of “ORBcafe” is selling the kamameshi along with special collaboration food and drinks with bonuses, as well as limited edition goods, in a special interior design for “Furieren’s Parlor.”
“Funeral of Frieren” is a manga written by Yamada Kanehito and illustrated by Abe Tsukasa, which is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday”. Set in a world “after” the Demon King was defeated by a hero and his party, the story follows the journey of Frieren, a magician who has lived for over a thousand years and who defeated the Demon King alongside the hero, and the new people she meets.
The story unfolds in a unique timeline “after the defeat of the Demon King” and is full of heart-wrenching drama and dialogue, magic and sword fights, and humor that will have you laughing out loud, attracting many readers. The currently on sale comics have sold over 22 million copies, creating a sensation among manga fans.
The TV anime based on the story was broadcast on television from the first special episode on Friday Road Show on September 29, 2023 until March 22, 2024. During the half year, the work gained a great response from a wide range of viewers, not just anime fans. Recently, one year after the first broadcast last year, the long-awaited information was finally announced that the second season of the TV anime will be produced.
This collaboration between the TV anime “Furier Parlor: Frieren” and “Touge no Kamameshi” will run until November 30th on the online shop and until November 24th at the Ginza Hakuhinkan store of “ORBcafe.”
The online shop currently carries three types of rice pot dishes named after each character: “Frieren’s Meat-filled Kamameshi,” “Fern’s Sauteed Salmon Kamameshi,” and “Stark’s Hamburger Steak Kamameshi.”
In addition to these Kamameshi, the Ginza Hakuhinkan branch of “ORBcafe” will also be offering collaboration foods and drinks with additional bonuses, such as the “Hero Party’s Halloween Bento,” “Pudding a la Mode,” “Tea and Cookie Set,” “Pumpkin Pancakes,” and “Halloween Sweet Purple Sweet Potato Latte.”
Limited edition goods such as acrylic stands, 57mm tin badges, BIG character stands, illustrated kettle holders, and lunch tote bags will be on sale, and various bonuses will also be available, so be sure to take this opportunity to visit the store, which has been specially decorated for “Funeral Parlor Frieren.”
