A Halloween fair for the TV anime “The Apothecary Diaries” will be held at Animate stores nationwide and on Animate Online Store. The lineup will include merchandise and bonus items with new illustrations of Nekoneko, Jinshi and others dressed up as monsters.
“The Apothecary Diaries” is based on a novel by Natsu Hinata, currently being published in “Hero Bunko” and currently being adapted into a comic in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX”. Set in the harem, the story follows Nekoneko, a poison taster girl who solves various difficult cases, and the total number of copies of the series, including the original novel and the comic, has exceeded 38 million.
A TV anime will air from October 2023 to March 2024. The second season is scheduled to air from January 10, 2025, and is currently gaining in popularity.
In the second season, which will be broadcast over two consecutive seasons, dark clouds begin to swirl within the harem as it becomes clear that Princess Tamaha is pregnant. An unprecedented unsolved case also puts Jinji’s life at risk. The mystery leads to more mysteries, and further difficult cases await Nekoneko, the daughter of a pharmacist with an abnormal obsession with poison and medicine, and the mysterious and handsome eunuch Jinji.
For the “TV Anime ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ Halloween in Animate Fair”, the main characters were drawn in cosplay as monsters.
Nekoneko is dressed as a Jiangshi, Jinshi as a nine-tailed fox, Gyokuyohime as Princess Tetsusen, and Gao Shun as Lei Zhenzi, creating a Halloween-like illustration.

The fair will be held from November 2nd to November 24th.
