“This World is Too Imperfect” is an adventure fantasy set in a world where abnormal phenomena occur, based on the manga currently being serialized by Sato Masatoshi on Kodansha’s official manga app and website, “Comic DAYS.”

While collecting firewood as part of her daily routine, Nicola, a girl living modestly in a small village in the middle of nowhere, encounters a giant dragon that is supposed to live far in the mountains. Just as the village is about to be attacked, a man named Haga, who calls himself a member of a secretly organized investigation team called the “King’s Seekers,” rushes to the scene. Nicola, who never grew bored with her repetitive, peaceful days, admires Haga and wants to step out into the outside world herself. And then she comes to know the true nature of this world.

Episode 1 “Nicola the Servant” Synopsis

Five small countries are crowded together on Cleborn Island. Nicola, a girl who lives modestly in a small village on the outskirts of the island, is attacked by a dragon that is supposed to live far away in the mountains while collecting firewood as part of her daily routine.

At that time, a man named Haga, who calls himself a member of the secretly organized research team “King’s Seekers”, rushes to his aid.

Nicola, who never got bored of the repetitive, peaceful days, admires Haga and begins to wish to step out into the outside world himself.

The first episode of “This World is Too Imperfect”, “Nicola the Servant”, will begin airing on Animeism B2 on Friday, July 5th.
