“Given” is based on the popular youth band story that began serialization in 2013 in “Cheri+” (published by Shinshokan). It was the
first BL comic to be adapted into an anime on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina,” and
was broadcast as a TV anime in 2019, followed by the first movie in the series, “Given the Movie,” in 2020.
The following year in 2021, the story was made into a live-action drama and a stage play.
The long-awaited anime sequel, the first part of a two-part film series, “Given the Movie: Hiiragi Mix,” will be released in January 2024, and
the second part, “Given the Movie: To the Sea,” will be released on September 20, 2024.
