ABEMA, the new TV of the future, is holding the biggest anime festival, the ABEMA Anime Festival, during Silver Week in September 2024. On September 15th, the ABEMA Anime Festival special stage was held, featuring “SHIBUYA ANIME BASE” in SHINJUKU, “Mystery Solving Warrior! Garibenger V – How We, the Uncle Comedians, Were Strongly Recommended to Make Anime,” and “Sumire Uesaka Presents Adult Women’s Expo.” In addition, anime screenings of “I Am the Most Evil Support Job, Talker, and Command the World’s Strongest Clan,” “Shika no Koko no Kokoshitantan,” and “A Mob’s Quest: A Heroic Tale” were also held, with special talks by a star-studded cast.

At the public recording stage of ABEMA’s anime/pop culture information program “SHIBUYA ANIME BASE,” Saki Fujita, who plays Torako, Rui Tanabe, who plays Anko, and Fuka Izumi, who plays Meme Meme from the popular anime “Shikanokokonokokoshitantan,” appeared. In addition to the first ever live performance of Shikanoko, a project filled with the charm of the work was also held.
Iguchi Yuka also appeared in the show’s signature “Deep Digging into Industry Connections” corner. This special edition dug deeper into Iguchi in front of the audience. To
end the show, a special event exclusive to the anime festival, a challenge project was held between the voice actor team and the Shibuya Ani team. The audience erupted in cheers at their passionate performance, and ABEMA viewers left many comments such as “They’re professionals!” and “That’s amazing!”

In this stage performance by the TV program “Galibenger V,” “old man comedians” Eiji Kotouge of Viking and his buddies Takashi Watanabe and Masanori Hasegawa of Nishikigoi learned about the anime “There Are Too Many Losing Heroines!”, “I’m a VTuber, but I Forgot to Turn Off the Stream and It Became a Legend,” and “The Little Citizen Series” together with VTubers such as Shiro, Haneru Inaba, Chieri Kakyoin, and Shimahaiirogitsune. The old man comedians were very interested in the presentation and got very excited, shouting “I want to see it! I want to see it!”

On this stage, Sumire Uesaka held an “adult girls’ night out” with guest voice actors Shiori Izawa, Yu Serizawa, Sora Tokui, and Yoshino Nanjo. Along with the “souvenir sweets” that everyone brought, they enjoyed skit talk and an improvisational project to transform into “adult girl-like situations”, providing a harmonious time.

At the screening of the anime “I am the Most Evil Support Job [Speaker] and Command the World’s Strongest Clan,” which will begin airing in October, an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 was held. In addition, there were plenty of events planned to allow viewers to fully enjoy the work, including an introduction to characters who will appear from episode 3 onwards and a video featuring Kouga Tsukishima, played by Omomo Yosuke.

The screening included the much talked about “Shikanokokonokokoshitantan,” as well as a lively discussion in which all the panelists looked back on scenes that were selected based on the ranking of comments from episodes broadcast on “ABEMA.”

At the screening of “The Heroic Adventure of a Mob”, an audio commentary screening was held where the audience and the cast enjoyed the work together. In addition, there was a lively discussion about the famous scenes of the work and the memorable scenes selected by the staff.
