It has been announced that Aiba Masaki, a nationally popular actor with his many talents, will appear in the second performance of “READING HIGH noir,” a new project launched in 2024 by the musical reading theater brand “READING HIGH.” The reading theater, in which he will co-star with voice actors Otsuka Akio and Hayami Saori, will be held from October 19th to 20th, 2024.
In the upcoming “Musical Recitation Drama READING HIGH noir ‘THANATOS'”, Arashi’s Aiba Masaki, who is active in many fields including as a singer, presenter and actor, will be taking on the challenge of a recitation drama for the first time. He will play the role of genius psychologist Edmund Einhardt.
This will be the third time that Otsuka Akio and Aiba have worked together, playing the role of Detective David Swain, who works hard to solve the case in this play. Both actors have been announced to play the role of Lord in the TV anime “Lord and Dog,” which will begin airing in October 2024.
Furthermore, in the CG animation film “PUI PUI Molcar The Movie MOLMAX,” which will be released on November 29, they will play human characters living in the world of Molcar, and will appear together on stage, going beyond the framework of TV anime and movies.
The two, who have appeared together in a short period of time, have become a hot topic on social media. “Musical Reading Drama READING HIGH noir ‘THANATOS'” will be held for two days from October 19th to October 20th, 2024 at Umeda Arts Theater Drama City.
