It has been announced that the “TOKYO Gundam Project 2024”, which aims to revitalize the waterfront subcenter area and develop global human resources in Tokyo, will hold the “Gundam Stamp Rally 2024” in the waterfront subcenter area, centered around Odaiba and Aomi, from September 21 to December 25, 2024. Participants who complete the stamp will be entered into a lottery to win Gundam Base limited edition Gunpla and original goods.
The Gundam Stamp Rally 2024 involves visiting six locations in the waterfront city center, including the Shiokaze Park Observation Deck, the water bus stop, and Odaiba Kaihin Koen Station, and stamping a cardboard sheet at each location to complete the visual of the life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue. The rally takes about an hour and participants can start at any location. Each location has explanations in English, making it easy for people from overseas to participate.
Once your stamp is complete, take the mount to “THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO ANNEX” on the 2nd floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza to receive a lottery ticket, which you can use to enter the lottery at “THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO” on the 7th floor.
The prizes for the lottery included the “RG 1/144 Gundam Base Limited RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC”, “Life-size Unicorn Gundam Statue Can Glass”, and “Gundam Base Tokyo Coupon”. We hope you’ll experience autumn while visiting the spots in the waterfront subcenter at the “Gundam Stamp Rally 2024”.
In addition to this, “Tokyo Gundam Project 2024” will be hosting “TOKYO GUNDAM FESTIVAL” by high school students multiple times over a two-month period starting from October 5th at the Festival Square on the second floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. This will consist of two programs, “English Guide” and “High School Performance”, and aims to deepen “hospitality” and international exchange through the power of Tokyo’s young generation, with English tourist guides by high school students and club performances. ● How to participate:
(1) Stamp the [Gundam Stamp Rally 2024] mount at each stamp spot.
(2) After visiting all the spots and completing the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue, bring it to “Gundam Base Annex” in front of the Festival Square on the 2F of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, have it checked by a staff member, and receive a lottery ticket.
(3) Take the lottery ticket and hold the 2D code over the lottery machine in front of “Gundam Base Tokyo” on the 7th floor. If you win, you will be issued a voucher on the spot, so please speak to a store staff member and exchange it for your prize.
